Cooking Instructions

  • Rinsing: Place a cup of Kodo Whole Grain Millets into a bowl, wash once, and then rinse thoroughly.
  • Soaking: Combine 2 parts water with 1 part Kodo millets in a bowl, and soak for 6 hours.
  • Boiling: Transfer the soaked millets with water to a cooking pot over medium heat.
  • Simmering: Cover the pot tightly with a lid and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Serving: Turn off the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
